If you are looking for deep tissue massage in Mexico City, you are probably looking for focused work on recurring tension: neck, shoulders, back, hips or legs that feel tight or overloaded. Deep tissue should not mean uncontrolled pressure. It means using depth, direction and rhythm with enough precision to work on the areas that need more attention while staying within a level your body can tolerate.
A good deep tissue session is not measured by bruises or by how much pain you can tolerate. At Savia, pressure is adjusted to the person and the area being worked on. Some zones may feel intense, but the objective is purposeful bodywork: less perceived tightness, greater ease of movement and a session that feels focused rather than aggressive.
It can be a good fit when you carry recurring tension, spend long hours sitting or traveling, train regularly, or feel that a very light massage will not address what you are looking for. Tell the therapist where you feel the most tension so the session can be focused without treating the whole body with the same intensity.
If your main goal is to slow down, rest and keep pressure gentle, a relaxation-focused session may be a better starting point. If you are unsure, message us in English and describe what you are feeling; the team can help you choose before booking.

The Torrescano Method is the foundation of Savia’s bodywork. It can be adapted for deeper pressure when the goal is to work on tension, while keeping the session precise and responsive to your comfort. We do not treat “deep tissue” as a license to use maximum force. The technique, pressure and areas of focus are adjusted throughout the session.

If you are looking for deep tissue because of accumulated tension, tell us which areas bother you most. We can focus the Active Massage on those zones and adjust depth to your threshold. If the tension is recurrent, consistency can make more sense than trying to make one session as intense as possible.
